What myths and misconceptions about adolescence have been passed down to you by other parents in your space? These myths and mistaken beliefs you have about teenagers' can affect how you connect with the children in your space.

Over time, we have passed down some myths and beliefs about teenagers that get in the way of how we see them and how we interact with them.

Unfortunately, most teens who are absorbing negative messages about who they are and what is expected of them may sink to that level instead of realizing their full potential.

I believe that adolescence, with all its apparent upheavals, should be enjoyed. It should be a time for entrenching the relationships with our children even deeper. Our teens and young adults should be delightful to be with.

Many parents tend to approach and navigate the teen and young adult years with conflicting feelings and tons of second-guessing.

Despite all the bad rap that adolescence gets, I believe with all my heart that it can be much easier than we have been led to believe.

By understanding the WHY behind the WHAT, by getting a peek into the world of a teen and young adult, we can navigate these years with confidence, and support them to activate the courage, purpose and resilience they need as they leave our nests.

Join us for Stawi Champions Season 5. We will help you debunk the myths you have believed about teenage years and walk with you as you gain the tools to support your teenager into adulthood.
